Release time:2026-05-22 22:00

On May 21, 2026, the launch ceremony for the Greater Bay Area 'Games +' Co-Creation Initiative was held at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cultural Industry Innovation Exhibition (Hall 15) during the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair. Jointly launched by the Guangdong Game Industry Association and the Yangcheng Evening News Group, the initiative received the initial support of nearly 20 leading game companies in Guangdong, including Rastar Games. It aims to help the game industry explore diversified development paths, promote cross-sector integration and extend the social value of games, supporting Guangdong's transition from a major game-producing province to a strong game-industry province.

A video presented at the launch ceremony looked back on the development of Guangdong's game industry, from its leading annual revenue scale of RMB 283.6 billion to its expanding work across areas such as the 'High-Quality Development Project for Guangdong's Counties, Towns and Villages,' the preservation of urban memory, industry-education integration and digital technology.

Nearly 20 leading game companies in Guangdong, including Rastar Games, took part in the initiative's first group of co-creators. The participants will promote joint projects in rural revitalization, talent development, cultural tourism and museum heritage, and digital technology. By building a collaborative ecosystem integrating media communication, industry operations and digital empowerment, the initiative aims to contribute to Guangdong's high-quality development and strengthen the cultural soft power of the Greater Bay Area.

Rastar Games has consistently pursued craftsmanship and continued to refine a portfolio of high-quality classical-style games based on the Three Kingdoms. In its flagship title Legend of Three Kingdoms: Works of King, Rastar Games integrates classic figures and stories from Three Kingdoms history and has also collaborated with Chen Peichen, a representative inheritor of Chaozhou woodcarving, a national-level intangible cultural heritage project, to create an innovative bridge between games and intangible cultural heritage. The collaboration has brought traditional culture to life in the digital world and earned widespread recognition and affection from players in China and overseas.

As one of the leading companies to support the 'Games +' Co-Creation Initiative from the outset, Rastar Games will use this event as an opportunity to continue pursuing its strategic approach of 'product serialization, market internationalization, and publishing branding.' It will develop more games that embody mainstream values and positive energy and explore a wider range of 'Games +' applications, providing global users with higher-quality content and richer cultural and entertainment experiences.
